SKYLAB, built with Apollo equipment, was the first space station. Each experiment had a different data format and those were programmed with switches. At some point, the setting of these switches were modified and some data are still impossible to decipher. In the following image, Owen Garriott was the SKYLAB astronaut who analysed the problem and Margaret Hamilton was the software engineer of the Apollo Automatic Guidance Computer and designed a keyboard based on a much more modern interface.
